In today's world many things are happening and evolving as we speak. Present days modernization goes with the tag " it's OK to do it". Our Lord Jesus came and gave his word which is what that Bible is all about i.e Word of God. Many of the things that the world says its OK to do is actually wrong.
Ps- If you are wondering what i mean by the "WORD" ..It refers to the BIBLE :)
Many of you may be wondering what i am talking about. I want to illustrate and give you a brief on what is wrong in this world but which the world says " its OK to do it". In this world everyone are sinners , there's not one perfect soul in this earth. Thus we are called by our Lord to live by the Word Of God which helps us get closer to him and helps us know what is right and wrong.
Many of the Christians and all others in today's world also are unaware of this and so are the masses. The Lord loves everyone equally and has no discrimination and wants all of us to be close to him and hear what he has to tell us.
The areas we look at here are :
- Smoking/Drinking/Drugs- We are all made by the Lord in his own image and thus by harming and hurting ourselves we are committing a sin as we are spoiling our health and body that our Lord gave us with all his love. The world says its OK to do and is common among especially the youth. Getting Drunk or High is a form of impurness and separates us from the Lord . This is a sin.
- Bribing-This is one of the most common sins seen today in and around the world which is approved by the world. Right from the common people to the big officials do it. It is not ethical as it causes corruption which causes chaos in the economy.

- Lying- Right from our childhood we have been brought up by our parents where we have been in the impression that lying is OK. But i am not blaming our parents . Here's an example -The fake leave note which our parents used to write to school when we didn't feel like going to school. Small things like this make a big difference. Lying is a universal sin that is known to Man since early times. This has caused N number of problems- Ended innocent lives, Saved bad people from trials , Put innocent people in troubles and dangers.
- Pre-marital Sex and Use of Contraceptives- Love comes from God as he as he is all love. Love and lust are far apart . These two words are mistaken by a few to be the same unconsciously. The topic of sex can be Spoken about as a form of education but should be done only after marriage. The main aim of the gift of Sex by the Lord was to make a baby ,reproduce and Increase love and bonding of two individuals. This is sacred and should not be mis-used. Use of contraceptives is a sin as it Prevents a new life from being born .Use of contraceptives after wedding is not alright as it is God who decides for when he will give you a child and not when you think your ready. Before marriage one should never indulge in Pre-marital Sex as it is a sin.
- Extra-marital Affairs-This is one of the sins that are grave and should never be committed. When two individuals get married they have a covenant with each other and one of the & sacraments which people have to take with the Lord as the focal point. They are supposed to remain together till they die and Love between them grown in the Love Of God. Thus it is very wrong to have such affairs as it is a disgrace to God and the sacrament of Marriage. Its a Big SIN.
- Masturbation (the most important area which is a sin if committed but is said OK to do by the world) Every one of us know what this is. This is told to us by Various sources that It is OK to DO. It is a Sin. The Sexual acts and pleasures are to be shared and and if done alone are considered selfishness. IT IS A SIN.
- Watching Porn- this is a Grave sin as it makes you look at human beings as objects and looses the aspect of humanity and respect we have for one another. It is easily available to everyone as it a a business where people make huge amounts of money as people view it invariably. This is bad as it spoils the Main idea of making love and its Disgusting. Making love is sacred and supposed to be kept that way, Not being mis- interpreted to the public.
- Using of Foul language/Talking Behind Backs/Bad Mouthing.-The Lord says do not speak bad about anyone or bad mouth or speak of the sins committed by others as we are all sinners. The lord says let the one who hasn't committed sin speak about sinners and find fault. Only The LORD is worthy of judging.The words which come out from our mouth have to be pure and not of filth ad we have to live in the LORD and his ways.
- Rowdyism/Revenge/Hatred/Fighting-Human lives are taken for granted. We or no once else have the right to take or end life, this right only remains with the Lord as he is the one who created life. Hurting others physically or emotionally is also wrong. Our Lord tells us to love our neighbours/one another just as he loves us ,thus we should never hate. We must learn to forgive as if we dont it will be a burden we carry with us which will disrupt out peace and relation with the Lord. Jesus FORGAVE all those who persecuted him and went against him. We are asked by The Lord to do the same.
The above SINS mentioned are what are approved of the world and there are many more of such nonsense that keeps us apart from the LORD Which the WORD DISAPPROVES. Thus I urge you to do what is right and Love and Live in the Lord as he LOVES you and will keep doing so forever. He Loves us even if we sin. He longs for us to come back to him . Its never too late to surrender our lives to the LORD as he will make you a better person and with his love and his WORD "YOU WILL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE !!!"
